Sure, criticize it in the surveys if you like. I get the impression most people are ignoring it though, and THAT'S how it will actually die. It was a trainwreck on launch, and the few people who bothered, or didn't hear how bad it was, quickly lost interest.

You should never have trusted a gacha company to have your best interests. They're not charities. The only thing I trust is that I will enjoy the story content, as I always have. As a company, I treat them with the same respect I have for a predator in the wild.

It's fascinating how a company this large is completely missing the point of TF2's success. The game was 100% accessible for free, and as players got interested and invested, they started playing 1st-person dress-up, each spending whatever amount they felt they could. Same as how people stuck with Genshin so long, and ended up spending. If you firmly lockout F2P in the beginning, then nobody bothers and your new game is dead on launch.
