Fallout 2 is just as cheesy and badly written as 3, has a less compelling plot, is more "woke", is ugly and old isometric or cavalier oblique or whatever, and less engaging and fun than the 3D fps and tps offered by 3.
New Vegas is the best entry because it combines the positives of 2 with the positives of 3.
