My headcanon is that Applejack, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom aren't technically inbred since their parents were an Apple and a Pear and Granny Smith resents them for not being pure. This is despite the fact that Bright Mac an Pear Butter would've already been products of generational incest and therefore making the trio half-bloods with genetic traits caused by second-hand incest.
