Lets compare themes. Reans arc was a story of love and hope. Love(shining bonds) connecting us as one as we reach for tomorrow(hope). Calvard/Vans theme was um even a monster can feel despair...or something i guess. Frankly, I don't know what the fuck calvard is even about.
