The issue with the bike was never the tech but how it looks. Only stupid people complain about the tech since they are ignoring all the other tech in this game like anti gravity machines, holograms, lasers, etc.
No technology on the bike itself is too advanced for the setting. The bike just doesn't fit a place like Natlan. Take the bike out and put it in Fontaine and it would be completely fine if it had the Fontaine. Fontaine has wheels, transforming robots, underwater robots, and robots for every function the bike has.
Meanwhile, where are engines used in Natlan? Where are tires like the ones on the bike used in Natlan? The components of the bike doesn't exist in Natlan at all.
