Saying “most Gazans are terrorists” is just collective punishment. Gaza has 2.2 million people half of them children and only a fraction are Hamas fighters. Starving and bombing civilians isn’t justice, it’s a war crime. The truth is, Israel has consistently rejected peace initiatives, expanded settlements, and maintained an open-air prison in Gaza for nearly two decades. Palestinians, like any occupied people, have the right under international law to resist and defend themselves. You can condemn Hamas’ October 7th attacks and still recognize that this doesn’t justify Israel’s deliberate starvation of children. Civilians are not responsible for what armed groups do and no child should be punished with death just because of where they were born.
