Germ theory is literally talmudic superstition from Israel Rabinowitz, but yes diseases were a big killer. It's why jews where shaven and given new clothes, because lice transmitted typhus and Zyklon B was how those lice were killed. The US literally showered Mexicans at the border with Zyklon B, and none of them died from it.

The only actual "gas chambers" in the camps were for delousing clothes.
