Meiya could be close, and is in Unlimited, but the stupid forced "can't talk about anything because it would ruin the twist" stomps out all potential chemistry in Extra. Tama and he just get along super well in a fun way that manages to avoid being annoying.

10ish hours into Muv Luv Extra. I didn't think I'd like it, especially with the completely exhausted anime tropes, but there's some genuinely really funny moments in there. Still not to anything serious/kino, but the trek is a lot more enjoyable than I thought.
