Right?
My Frontline managers are laid off too, so micromanagement is at all time lows.
My manager just said, "I don't care what you're doing, just get the work done."
And brother, without all the stupid roadblocks in the way, I'm able to just focus on my job and I'm getting projects done in days that used to take weeks to a month because I'd get pulled off and have to do some stupid computer training, or take this course on active shooters or coddling your local faggots, and then sift through 4000 useless emails from completely useless people whose job it is to write and send literal junk mail that, because they're part of your organization, you CAN NOT block.
Realistically the only downside is that from here on out, I'm not getting paid.
We got/get, depending on your bank, paid but for us to really feel any issues, the shutdown would have to go for another two full weeks, and I highly doubt that's going to happen.
>Why?
If it goes another two weeks people are going to realize that nothing has really changed for them and they'll figure out that for the most part, most government funployee are useless.
