When you talk about action direction in particular, however, I thought it was almost universally agreed upon that this was one of the specific strengths of this series. For a Toku, action direction is a very important part of the overall direction. This show made good use of distinct fighting styles, unique camera angles + impressive moving/tracking cameras during fight sequences, and I absolutely adored the use of both practical effects (think the water beads for Poppin'/Kickin'/Punchin' Gummy) and CGI SFX both. I loved whenever the characters would actually interact with the SFX in the action, it helped to sell a unique visual identity for the series.
