>What about fighting choreography though, are any notably great, or do they consistently deliver?
The action in Heisei and Showa was for the most part okay, Showa had the sloppiest action but it also featured some extremely dangerous stunts that wouldn't be possible today due to modern safety regulations. Out of the Heisei shows, the ones that stand out for their consistently great action scenes are Agito, Kabuto, Kiva, Fourze and Wizard.

Reiwa in general was a step up in terms of the choreography and overall action directing, it got brand new action directors that began storyboarding all the action scenes in a much more meticulous way, whereas in the past they just winged it on set when it came to certain parts. All Reiwa shows have generally great action, though Gotchard was seen as a bit of a step down compared to the others since it had one of the older action directors and it kinda shows, but it still had plenty of good action scenes. Geats and Gavv have an action director who's known for his over the top anime-esque action sequences (though he also has some scenes that make great use of props and the overall environment similar to Jackie Chan's flicks) while Zero-One, Revice, Saber and Zeztz have a director whose fights are a little more subdued and put more focus on the suit actors' moves.
