33 turning 34 in about a month, back at home with the parents because rent in my city is 1500 for a bachelor and 1700+ for a one bedroom. Plus my my parents are getting older and they need help paying bills so paying half their mortgage for them which is literally cheaper then renting a room with some random along with getting their internet up to speed. It's crazy how companies take advantage of the elderly, they were paying like 100 a month for 25mb internet. I was able to get fiber for the same price. Then there was their cell phones, paying 200 a month for fucking flip phones because they needed to pay extra for 3g only phones. So i got that down to 40 a month for them. I wonder what kinda scams we will fall pray to when we are 60-70
