Yes, always only masked. Merely in the できăȘい stage of inpainting so no way I'm going to change everything in one fell swoop. And yes, at around the halfway point of generation there is a preview (or four, since I gen in batches of 4 when practicing inpainting; full 8 when I'm blindly slopgenning), but at that point I consider it too late to halt the process. Regardless, what you see is the result. Note that before this I used a combination of Paint.NET's color picker, shapes (oval and rectangle), and fill bucket tools to remove the bang as I didn't trust the inpainting/img2img process to fill in the white void that would've been left behind if I used the eraser. Results are better then I expected until I zoom in. Missing shadows, asymmetrical, and so on. Maybe a second pass at 0.5 or lower will fix it?
