It does. You have to consider a whole bunch of things that just happened in rapid succession:

1. Nukes were brought back 3 chapters ago out of thin air.
2. Nukes have to play a role in the upcoming battle between Yoru and Death.
3. Yoshida just caused a gigantic explosion with a confident cocky smile on his face.
4. Yoshida is absolutely certain he will never have to see Denji again.

Why would he be so certain that Denji is gone for good if he knows hybrids are immortal? Likely because the power he's allied with it that fucking powerful - meaning only nukes can rupture Pochita and Denji's assholes beyond repair, and if his role in blowing them up is just as a "switch", then that means Yoru might see herself as the finger that pulled the switch and have the ability to weaponize CSM. I think the explosion Yoshida just caused is somehow the result of the new Nuke devil that just popped up 3 chapters ago because that's how Fujimoto writes, introduction and payoff in the nest 4-6 chapters. It was like that with Fire devil too, he appeared a few chapters right after Denji asked Yoru about him. That would also explain why Yoshida said
