Funny how you didn't play the game, Bowser literally does try to existence erase but gets interrupted. Dream stone has the power of all dreams, which includes the dream depot = nigh-endless power of countless dream universes. Miyamoto states each Mario game is on the same tier of canon.

One of Reclusa's final attacks is trying to blow everything up and the bros just shrug it off and throw it right back at him. This is a Mario and Luigi after Dreamy Bowser by the way so Reclusa scales high.

Sephiroth also gets ultra bodied by Mario or Luigi (separately) in reality. Even without using RPGs, Mario just erases him with the SMW Mop, to remind you this is also a toonforce verse. Or just straight up reality warping shenanigans in Mario wonder, or any other countless Mario games we can use. You don't want this smoke. Heck, even SMB1 Bowser destroys Sephiroth with his first ever feat of mass wide block transmutation. He doesn't even need the dreamy form to waste this chump and wreck him in base (Mario scales to him easily btw)
