>but half of invincible is skippable dogshit yeah
I dismissed Invincible for a long time but it really grows on you after multiple listens. Every song flows into the next one, it's a really cohesive listening experience with enough songs strong enough to stand on their own. I also love how there is clear experimentation with different and fresh sounds, like on Heartbreaker. MJ never lost his edge. There is some fat to be trimmed, like I don't think Privacy or 2000 Watts deserve the time they take, but Invincible is definitely a great album. What's insane is how many Invincible session outtakes there are that are arguably better than some tracks that made it on the album, like Xscape, Blue Gangsta, Chicago (She was loving me), Get Your Weight Off Of Me, Hollywood Tonight, A Place With No Name, Shout and We've Had Enough. Invincible definitely deserves a remastered deluxe version. The mastering on the CD version is lacking, but that's a different topic.
