Brotherhood was cancer but 2003 was pretty good, more deeper and atmospheric, got a lot of classic early 2000s vibes from it like Monster, more seinen not like Bitchhood that was more of a bland shonen like Demon Slayer

I finish Brotherhood for the first time and god it was total ass but then I watch 2003 and think to myself damn this is actually pretty good, more atmospheric and older more classic 2000s animation like Monster and Paranoia Agent, more introspective too, so why Brotherhood consider so much better when it wasn't very good?

For me I prefer 2003. I felt like it had a darker tone and atmosphere while Brotherhood is more kiddy and generic shonen. To me 2003 is like Monster while 'hood is like Demon Slayer, it doesn't stand out very much and feels soulless
