It gets to 40°C or roughly 100°F in the summer and down to -20°C or -4°F in the winter with snow one week then freezing rain the next. Houses are over a million CAD for a shitbox 30mins outside the city and there's not enough rental housing so people pay $3800 a month on a condo with a $2800 mortgage.
