I'm just waiting for a mass exodus of some kind. I do believe that as a culture we haven't progressed in an actual 12 years because a digital pacifier will suck the dopamine and attention that would needed to create new culture or new ideas. This is why vyida sucks, why movies suck, why books suck, why tv sucks, and even manga/anime is starting to become shit holy fuck. We are so fucking stagnant in that regard that I would argue that this is really the worst time to be living in. The only solution is to consume older media or try to find gems and smaller things in the mass
