BBBY issuing warrants with the CUSIP-6 for DK-Butterfly is evidence of an ongoing merger. DK-Butterfly shareholders will receive BBBY shares >>61198126 and cash/warrants. The process has already begun because it is legal to begin it before confirmation of the new plan. However it's possible that there will be a share exchange as specified in the BBBY SEC filing for the warrants if BBBY also merges into something else above and beyond the merger into DK-Butterfly.

Normally a merger would require shareholder approval but if the company already owns 80-90% of the subsidiary that it's merging with then it doesn't require shareholder approval due to being what's called a short-form merger. One of the states that only requires 80% is Florida, out of which RC, Carl Icahn, and DFDV are based. DFDV is either a red herring that coincidentally filed a 1:10 ratio warrant dividend at the same time as BBBY and GME, or it's flying under the radar as an integral part of whatever blockchain-focused enterprise emerges from the merger.
