i don't get his fixation with Taox, she's a non-character that appeared only in the Books of Sorrow, she did something near the beginning of them and the last time she was mentioned as alive was during the Hive's war with the Ecumene and after that it's unknown what happened to her, and that stuff happened like a bajillion years ago
