If the spoilers are true and that is the actual elimination challenge, then this elimination rewards players with good social games because they'll have a higher likelihood of getting picked early which gives them a higher chance to be safe, while the players with shit social games get saved for last and eliminated. This is also a chance to eliminate a comp threat by saving them for later. The player who goes out here most likely didn't have a chance to win in the end anyway.
