Staten island is pretty much all italians & corrupt cops who retire by 40yo a millionaire (in the 90's) that move to an ultra wealthy section of it. My folks daid the houses of the corrupt cops in the 80's/ 90's all had massive walls and gates on their massive propery with a mansion. Such as walking into an abandoned building in the ghetro, and coming out with a brown bag stuffed with 100's every friday morning as their cut for not arresting rhe drug kings & giving them protection from getting caught (always tipping him off if rhe narcotica division was investigating them, or if the cops were on the way to raid his house & arrest him. So he could move all the drugs/money/guns, etc & lay low for a while somewhere else (or different boro/city/state if severe. Or making sure that evidence went missing in the evidence locker, and so on
