Funnily enough, I have a similar story. I've neglected my wind quite a lot. But shortly after getting Summer Haase I end up getting a really cracked artifact for my Cow, and also got Bastet off of a scamcha. I'm stuck playing Sette ougi, but it feels a lot better than it's been before.
You should definitely ring Galleon, she deserves it and also allows you to play Sumo in wind without wanting to kill yourself.
