It's not the subject matter, it's how they use the references and don't do anything really creative about them that piss me the fuck off! I see this shit all the time with Triple A games where you could tell they got some college degree bum that just sucked the dick off their college professor and just draw the references they use rather than transforming it into something cool. It's like going into art Station and see the same generic fantasy art you see of some burning looking ranger guy or witch lady that they copy off lord of the rings. I'm not denying that on a technical level, "it's good" but it's nothing really doing anything new with the media. I don't give a fuck about this character because the design sucks and its souless!
