>finish master's
>be told by (female) supervisor my top 10% grades aren't enough to get into a PhD program
>as a man of course
>females only need to be in the top 25% since PhD positions are again divided 50/50 among a student population with 90% males
>go through harrowing job search
>be told by recruiters and HR demons that they are mainly looking for female candidates to even out the gender distribution in their teams
>be told by HR demons that they favor students with more internships and research assistant experiences
>meanwhile all of my female classmates, including ex gf, immediately find top tier jobs despite worse grades
>finally find decent job
>be told I will get to do team lead training including certificate paid for by employer because I show promise to go into that direction
>last minute I get told my new female colleague who has been nothing but incompetent will get the training instead because last year they gave it to a male and they want to keep it even
>now government mandates only young men are going to be forced into conscription
