It hasn't been behind the sun since it's "early" perihelion on Oct. 29. It's quite observable currently and has been for days.

What people need to understand is the impact of the Mars picture embargo. 1. Those would be the most detailed pics yet, everyone was anticipating them. The NASA HiRISE hi-res photos would put speculation to rests, and EU pointed 2 orbiters, China had one, etc.
2. NASA used the gov shutdown, but that's disingenuous as it did upload a lot of useless stuff, EU is using an inexplicable reason of "it takes months to process", and China whose normal Geo-political play would be to show off here w/ their capablities is silent.

3. The official narrative was that it can't be "observed" at or before perihelion and even until mid-Nov. That has been debunked by many astronomers.

The sus level is legit.

>Can't see it at or after perihelion.
Oh wait, lots of astronomers did observe it then.
>Well, it had non gravitational acceleration, but it's just outgassing 1/6 it's mass.
Right. Since the only other reason would be artificial propulsion. 1/6 outgassing....which will be provable by Dec when it passes closest to Earth and every crappy telescope can view it
>But you can't view it until mid November...

LOL glow harder. It is now visible currently by even small telescopes. This has all been proven by many astronomers and as it turned out it was even observable prior and during perihelion, despite NASA claims.
