Those things you listed feel more like random occurrences, unfortunate events, or tough obstacle instances rather than active attempts at killing you. These are events that serve as disruptions to your strategy or current solution, and they feel somewhat organic to the setting most of the time. And I think that's what rubs me the wrong way the most, PEAK to me was more of a strategy or puzzle game with some surprises along the way to make it more fun, while zombies turn the experience to horror action which is not fun to me at all, personally.

You made me remember Robocraft too, it was pretty fun back then. I abandoned ship relatively early so I might not know what you're talking about, but it was pretty nice while it lasted.
