I am going to create a github project dedicated to reverse engineering a minidisc player/reader/writer so that it may be replicated via open source means. it will be a PHD level document detailing my efforts in doing so including any difficulties I encounter along the process. Essentially an audio diary. People will initially react negatively to this project but they will eventually chance their minds. I am letting you know this now so that you cannot feign ignorance when the situation arises.
