Neither of is really care about height. No one did until the invention of Tinder/Bumble where you can filter by height and women came up with this arbitrary idea of a minimum height requirement. If you actually talk to people in real life they do not care 99/100 times. I met my GF at a rock climbing gym and she never cared that I was short. My entire family is short and I'd say half of my aunts are taller than my uncles and they just do not care. This obsession with height is a very, very modern phenomenon. I mean yeah, women had a slight preference for taller dudes but it is like preferring brunettes or something, if you meet a really nice, sweet, attractive woman with blonde/black/red hair you will not care.
