I meant impressive as in they actually did it. I don't give a shit if they copied gw2 1:1. That's what they used to do in the past: copy other games and make it better; that's how you succeed in this genre and this industry. But after WoW peaked and Activision took over they started getting off on the smell of their own farts and thought they were better than everyone else and stopped doing it. They would refuse to copy something from another MMO because that would bruise their ego to admit another MMO did something better than them.
If they can create housing from scratch that's better than the housing in a game that's had it for years then I'm all for it. That means they learned they aren't the untouchable king of MMOs they once were and there's real competition threatening them. Not just FFXIV or GW2 but all live service games in general are their competition now. Time is the commodity they are fighting for; your time and how you spend it and more importantly, how you spend your money.
