I played those 100 hours this year and almost every single player I played with, both summoning / being summoned and invaders, were console users; I only got summoned by another PC player once.
Probably the game does super well on consoles so the PC sales don't really matter, which explains the entire deal with Tim Sweeney.

(You know because the player's name has an icon at the left of its name showing its platform of origin).
