>Dante is universal at best, according to Death Battle.
I think this is still wrong; he's not even that powerful. But I'm more surprised that he didn't even make it to multiversal (tier 2). Fanboys tend to exaggerate his power at least to that level. I suppose that Swan kept everyone else from buffing him hard, since he's unexpectedly among the researchers who have never been blinded by DMC favoritism.
>Bayonetta is canonically multidimensional-multiversal (tier 1). The bare minimum of universes that Singularity consumed was 2 thousand, and Bayonetta scales to him. Plus, Aesir is at least 8-dimensional, according to in-game logs and mythological imagery in the second game.
I guess not only Vsbattles and Kamiya, but also Death Battle killed the Bayonetta vs. Dante debate. I doubt G1's reevaluation of this match-up will grant Dante the victory, so this DB was pretty much the final nail in the coffin. We have to thank Comicgyal, for doing an extensive Bayonetta lore research, and that Touhou user from Vsbattles who pushed mods to fraudcheck Peak of Combat's lore.
