It's not a bait though. I get more overall dmg using Mihara off-element on Thermite than SBS on-element this UR because of the charge speed debuff.
Mihara is probably the most versatile DPS in the game right now, both works on- and off-element, on- and off-burst, doesn't rely on the boss having a core or parts. You can pretty much slot her into any comp and she'll do good dmg with proper investment.
