>They want your good.
What you and they don't understand is that they want "our good" in that patronizing way of a tyrant who cares not for who people are and what they struggle with or need - but organize society on the basis of their generalized, arrogant assumptions about people. They try to restrict, micromanage lives of regular folks while being completely detached from them, absolutely not understanding intricacies of behavior and perspective they themselves lack.
Their intentions may be noble, but their arrogance and practical impact on society is all shit and harm.
>"If they don't have bread to eat, let them eat cake",
>"we want to help some people so we'll ruin all other to help them",
>"OUR goal is pure so the sacrifice of OTHERS - worth it"
>"we need to see, restrict and control your thoughts and actions for your own good"
All kinds of bullshit than in practice does harm, perpetrated by people misled into believing their ability to accrue political capital, money and power means they're capable in any other pursuit. They aren't.
It's like socialism/communism. I've studied the system. I LIVED in a country under it. On the paper it IS great - cooperation, unity, respect - that's why gullible retards fall for and support it despite it crumbling into totalitarian dystopia every single time - because it's just another bunch of powerful people following some simplified chart of human nature, not understanding much of it or the people they hope to rule and in their arrogance already seeing themselves as enlightened and noble - and thus excused in their fucked up deeds - while their opponents as evil or stupid simply for not agreeing with their lofty and internally rotted, naive vision of the world.
