Is computer science still a good degree in 2025? I visit the subreddit r/cscareerquestions, and I get mixed answers on whether it's still a good major or not, and I can't tell what answers are based on reality.
If I simply graduate in a few years (let's say 2027) with no projects or internship, am I honestly going to be fucked and never find a CS related job? And if so would electrical engineering be a good alternative to CS?

How?? I am so tired of this shit I’ve considered just becoming feral living in a forest and dying that way. I can’t take this anymore. I’ve worked for 7 years with nothing to show for it. On top of all of that I’m an autistic shit so there’s always an eye on me like I’ve done something wrong while simultaneously siphoning workload onto me like I’m a responsible worker and other office politics humiliation rituals.

I want to get married but I will never make enough money to buy my own home or even live comfortably as a rentoid and thus I will die as a genetic dead end incel.
