I hope this as well, and am certain it is part of the second-order effects reasoning of the new administration and its economic/trade advisors, a renewed 'manufacturing ethos'.
Whether it actually comes to pass we won't know for a couple of years at least.
I don't think we can get back to mid-20th century U.S.A. or Japan-quality tier necessarily overall/nationwide, but it ought to be a substantial improvement.
