Silksong - didn't really give a shit and had other games to play, but boughted 'cause I wanted to get into something on release for once. Surprisingly good decision - later on I'd have even less motivation to try it and likely would miss out on this gem. Thanks for the tip, Aussie anon.

4 hours in, but only beat the Bell Beast - glad to see he's well after the fight and gives me rides on his back. Otherwise mostly EXPLORAN. Wasted time trying to pogo jump off the flies 'cause I was curious about the passage to the left and above from the pilgrims camp, only to find some faggot vomiting acid on me from the ceiling and barely make it out alive. Peak HK experience.

Nikke - dailies.

Hollow Knight - it's bothered me that I gave up on the final two Pantheons, so I reinstalled, dug up my save from 2023 and GRINDAN through P4 (now with a controller). So far I suck, but feel like it's coming back to me. Not sure if I'll actually get to the end tho, 'cause it seems to be insanely hard.

007 GoldenEye (N64) - marathoning Bond before Last Light. It's crazy how they nailed the movie vibe in such an old game. It's not just a corridor shooter - sometimes you stealth around with a silenced PPK, sometimes you spray 'em down in a narrow corridor with a stolen AK, and you actually have to read the tasks and do them, not just go forward. You can peek, go prone, look which stalls in the bathroom are occupied to prefire them. From the picrel position I managed to shoot the soldier's hat off and then finish him in the head. Enemies' animations are peak btw. Pretty hard without checkpoints, but absolute kino still.
