There is nothing wrong with abortion.
The problem is people not wanting to have kids due to the economics of having a child.
Most costs to raising a child are carried by the parents, most benefits to society of that child being raised and becoming a functional adult are socialized and spread across the population.
So, beside the non-material reward of being a parent people who have and raise children are being ripped off, and that didn't use to be the case when people ensured their comfortable retirement by having children.
It has to be made the case that a person will get more out monetarily by spending on a child than they'd get putting that money into stocks and it has to be done on the government level.
