2v are gud and go for over 200k. 3vs won't make it to 160k before they jump time. They'll drop the chain guides in the pan and run for a while with the timing chain slapping the heads then one day jump time. Most shops won't even do a cam phaser and timing chain replacement once past a certain amount of miles even if it is in time and has no codes. They all tuned me down at 140k for cam phaser replacement despite having no issues or codes. Just the same phaser tick its made since shortly after it was bought brand new. When I had my reman engine put in I pulled the timing cover on my old "good" engine. All but one guide was sitting in the pan and the chain had chewed up the head. What a POS engine.
