Let's take a look at the current generation of talent leading SHAFT
>Hiroto Nagata
Seems to have taken what used to be Genichiro Abe and Ryo Imamura's role as the superstar animator at the studio (eventhough Abe still works there) that they use for stand out moments of animation in their shows. His style is controversial but he's gotten a lot better as of late especially with his character animation and relies less on the spastic over the top hard to read action.
>Midori Yoshizawa
Director of the new Monogatari season and while definitely not reaching the heights of Oishi, I think her style is a step in the right direction away from what Itamura was doing with a lot more focus on purposeful shot composition and framing than what Itamura used to do. She also directed episode 5 and storyboarded episode 12 of Ninkoro which were by far the stand out episodes of that show.
>Yukihiro Miyamoto
Has been with the studio for a long time, was even co-director of Madoka and its movies alongside Shinbo, but seems to be the prominent top director at SHAFT now directing Ninkoro and the upcoming Madoka movie. He carries the spirit of SHAFT the most out of all its directors and was able to bring a great return to form for them with Ninkoro.

I'd say those are the main three leading the charge at SHAFT at the moment but there's obviously still veterans supporting them like obviously Shinbo and Abe as well as Shouji Saeki and Yasuomi Umetsu.
