I want to like Breguet because the dimensions and design of a lot of the watches are really impressive but the proportions of elements of the dial and the breguet numeral script almost always ruin it for me.

Look at how much completely fucking unused space there is on this dial. How small the numerals are in relation to the expansive no mans land and long ass hands. A lot of times this middle area will have some kind of guilloche pattern and i appreciate how much time and effort it takes to do that well but at the end of the day it still looks from afar like vacuous underutilized space. I'm sure there's some kind of mathematical visual design principal behind why the numerals are that exact size and position on the dial, but it's apparently not working on me.
