Am I missing something or am I just shit? Are LMG's actually complete dog shit? At least the first two that you can unlock? The DRS and the starter one? I find that I will lose every trade possible against most other guns and even at longer ranges too.

Separate question, how easy is it to spot enemies? Sometimes I will be proned behind cover but slightly out of cover to look around. and will be shot when not moving and not shooting. So if you are in someone's field of view, does it auto mark you?
