I played it pretty extensively and found it mediocre. Femboys and cat girls and weird fashion designs. I clearly wasn't the target audience for that. The gameplay and boss design was pretty good though and kept me going. Doubt I'll ever go back to it.

Buddhism is applied nihlism. Confucianism is a bit too atomized for my taste. Daoism? Just right. Zhaungzi and Lao Tzu are my niggas. It's all about being pragmatic with what you have and a lot of it aligns with western metaphysics to an uncanny extent. Taoism isnt so much rituals and dogma but a specific holistic philosophical approach to reality that is infinitely scalable.
