Yeah I always liked the idea of having infantry/vehicles actively fighting you in an AC game
Also not enough mech games really do anything to show how humans are meant to exist in their levels, no catwalks/elevators, or foot paths for people, and if they do it's always poorly scaled, probably intentionally for readability but still
it's something I kept in mind while toying with the idea of mecha-themed mod in Goldsrc, thinking about how a given path in a level would work designed as a space designed for people and vehicles, not just mechs
