Women do listen, sure there are some ignorant one's out there but they're the minority. They actually will bring up a lot of stuff you say if it becomes important later on.
The girl I'm currently dating actually remembered that i was in Amsterdam once, which is really shocking because i only ever mentioned that trip ONCE in passing, and she brought it up when discussing our holidays, just know that women listen. It's why you need to be careful around them and to them.
But don't let them walk over you, respect yourself first and foremost, and then respect others afterwards
