Illegal immigration is a great way to raise property values, push down wages or at the very least make the more stagnant while still maintaining a demand due to the sudden influx of adults (that are by large majority men). It's likely that simple, with some other ulterior motives on top. Something is at least happening and you only need to look at the reaction to new parties and politicians that's been happening. The most obvious example is Trump, no matter what you think about him it should immediately seem weird that in 2015-2016 both media, politicians and even Hollywood stars and musicians made a total 80 on their attitude towards him. Pre-2015 there was praise and at worst simple acceptance. Again, your feelings about him is irrelevant, the point is that there's a very clear intolerance among Western governments towards anyone entering the fray that's not part of the "Elites" for a lack of better term. You saw this with Bernie 2016 too, and we've seen this in Europe with France outright banning a politician for shit they've done themselves (or worse) and immediate arrest and removal from the race in Romania even before anything had been seen in court yet.
And to clarify, this is not about political sides specifically, it's just that right now the left is ass and being manipulated but I guarantee you that you'd have seen similar attempts at blocking and removing if the left pushing for free speech and secure borders (with different reasoning obviously). And no, I am not saying not to shit on the left, shit on any retards trying to push dumb bullshit and censorship, the point is that sides is not what matters to the people in charge, only whether people can be used to their goals.
