If you remember Andrew Yang was in the democrat race in 2020. One of those people serious enough to run for president but still a meme candidate with little hope in reality.
His main focus was AI taking jobs. He basically said trust me AI is coming soon and wanted to work towards solutions. He had a policy idea of paying everyone a universal basic income of $1000 a month. This might have been a kind of meme policy to get him attention but he was interested in working out what to do when AI fucks shit up.
Now that AI is actually having an impact and getting smarter every year and that Yang predicted this should he be backed by /pol/ or a serious contender for democratic presidential nominee?
