I always felt the same
It's just players that want open world exploration and immersion in a open world game vs players that want to skip open world exploration in the open world game and close themselves in the tower/hologram arena instance.
Honestly, if I wanted just an arena battle game, I would just still play PGR only and wouldn't bother with wuwa. The parkour and traversing the world, exploring were the main selling points for me. But I'm past the point of expecting changes now. I see that they try to cater to another audience, so I complete exploration in 3-4 hours, close the game and play single player games for open world feel. The only question is why did they bother with making open world game in the first place. Making instanced tunnel maps would be more efficient, less time spent by their target demographic and no flying needed to speed up the daily gameplay that takes 10 minutes already.
