When you compare the Taz-Mania intro (that ran from 1991-1995) to the unused animated Crash Bandicoot 1 cut scenes, there are a lot of similarities in art style and various tropes. The Crash Bandicoot animated segments were probably put into production somewhere between late 1995 to mid 1996, not long after Taz-Mania wrapped up. Jim Cummings provided vocal lyrics for both theme songs (He was also the voice of Taz).
